Saturday, November 3, 2012. It is the time of year to close up our gardens for the winter. This year has been especially bountiful because of an extra long growing season. We all were able to get an early start on planting and the season continued well into fall. However, now is the time to put our bed to bed for the winter. It is even suggested that you leave as much as possible of the old vegetables right in the bed for that extra composting and nutrition. Writings by Robin, community gardener.

Sunday, August 26, 2012. Back to School For All. While we have little ones and preschoolers in class here throughout the school year, summer affords us unique opportunities to experience more time outdoors, just as we did when we were in grades K-12. And just as summer is beginning to fade, kids are getting back on.
